The Treasure State

Montana may be known as the “The Treasure State” because of its rich mineral reserves, but precious metals aren’t the state’s only gems. Under Montana’s “Big Sky” lies endless possibilities for adventure, exploration, wildlife sightings, and scenery so gorgeous you won’t believe it’s real.

All four seasons in Montana offer abundant of activities for everyone. During the summer, explore the hiking trails and scenic vistas in Glacier National Park, fish the clear blue waters of the Missouri River, sample one of our states many growing microbreweries and dine at some of the west’s best restaurants. In the fall, take in one of our harvest festivals or delight in a scenic drive while enjoying the vibrant foliage of the quaking aspens. Montana winters are magical. Cruise the powder on one of Montana’s world-class skiing hills or down the trails on a snowmobile. When the snow starts melting in the spring, tour Lewis & Clark Caverns, wander an old ghost town and soak in natural hot springs. And during the in-between season times, there are plenty of museums, art galleries, and local shopping boutiques to peruse.

WHAT BETTER WAY TO EXPERIENCE THE WILD WEST THAN ON A TREASURE HUNT?

An exclusive program offered only through Get Lost Travel, get ready for a custom-planned Montana adventure: Treasure State Quest. Catered to your specific interests and travel preferences, one of our travel advisors will curate a trip to best suit your dreams and orchestrate an authentic Montana experience.

Many of our clients choose to only know what city they are flying in to and what their rental car confirmation number is… from there, they are ready to embark on an adventure of challenges and clues throughout the state. Other guests choose to be involved in the planning process and know what to expect on their itinerary. Whatever your preference, you ultimately decide on how involved you would like to be in your Treasure State Quest.

We initiate the planning process by having you answer a questionnaire about your “Big Sky” dreams, expectations, preferences and interests. From there, we do the rest. Accommodations range from serious working dude ranches with rustic cabins, to historic grand lake view properties, to Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five Star luxury resorts. We work very closely with our preferred partners to make sure our clients experience an epic journey full of unique experiences, wild places, unexpected encounters, and memories that last a lifetime.
